You did a really great job with the woman and her proportions... the shading is just to die for and I love the rat! The only thing I can say though is that the background really takes away from all of that. Maybe by even just smoothing out those colors a bit more and blending them together, you could increase the quality of the picture. :3
What the, holy hell, it looks like a friggin photograph. Damn I wish I could learn your style, I tried watching the animation and I can see your approach is relatively similar to a few others on this site but I just can't figure out how you guys are able to envision what your outcome is going to be and then manage to get there in the manner that you do.
Either way this is awesome work right here. Great job.
I saw this from the front page and knew it was yours. Its so different, very nice! I do love the detail you put into the foreground of your images, its interesting. The colors are very earthy, definitely looks native american.
Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It depicts five United States Marines and a U.S. Navy corpsman raising the flag of the United States atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima in World War II.
wow, I love this! the bright blue is so cheerful and really puts you in a "vacation" mood. I love how happy and whimsical this is <3 your simple lines are very nice too. great job! I always love seeing your work :)
I am such a fan of your work Tobi. Your characters are always so cute and full of personality. I love the perspective and the scene. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Your cell-shading is always so good.
I actually like the background. It's nuetral leaving most attention to the foreground. I would have probably not added the extra halftone spots though. I adore her clothing...the details..the fringe. Poor mousy.
