I think this one piece is like a rite of passage for those of us coming to the CB for the first time :) I've never seen this elf in dark colors, though. Her dress/tunic was very fun to color <3

This picture in NO WAY is for or against ANY religion. Just watched a movie about the apocolypse and this is what came out. First time drawing in a two star room... I will fix up the background, but right now I am way way way way too tired. I will definately re-do the background, I know it is not up to par.

I'm glad somebody finally drew her, a very awesome character to colour : )

Things that you might want to fix up are how low her lips are (should be a third down from the nose to the chin), you might want to lower her eyes a little, move her bellybutton in to line up with the centre of her cross and make the line dividing her forearm and upper arm a bit shorter.

I'm really liking these lines : )

Finally its finished!! Thanks so much MH for recovering etc :) I loved colouring this lineart in! Added my own leaves cause the background just reminded me of Autumn :)

Whew, it's been eeeeooons since I sat down to draw up some proper oekaki line art :]

EDIT: Alright, if you watch the animation, it's really messed up and shows the drawing of...ironically...a cat girl.

I went to retouch to see if any damage was done to my linework, and sure enough, there was a cat tail slapped across the image of my poor mouse girl--on the same layer as my line art. I went ahead and erased the cat tail, and redrew my lines where the shoddy animation glitch affected it.

Now, it shouldn't be a problem when coloring :]

EDIT 2:

FFFFFF. Apparently, the animation is not picking up my edits. I retouched and fixed it twice already, but the animation will not include what ever I retouch. So that cat tail is still in the image when you retouch.

Son, I am dissapoint.

I've always been aware that the animations were prone to getting glitched since before the coloring book was brought into existence--but in my experience, it was always possible to go back and edit it without further issues.

So the fact that I can't seem to do that this time is a new one to me haha.

Did you actually watch your animation before retouching? That may be the cause of the error. It might be a good idea to check by retouching on another computer.

I was finished the line art before watching the animation to make sure all was well. Of course, it wasn't, so that's I went and retouched to fix what was muddled--but to no avail.

I LOVE this image!!! the lineart is so smooth and the eyes are so pretty!! I love the pose and the way shes in the full picture. I can't wait to get down and colour her in!
So sad to hear about the animation, I've had this trouble before. Very frustrating!

The retouches have finally registered in the animation--which means there will no longer be a cat tail in the image when you try to color it!

OMG! This is some wonderful line art. The lines are extremely smooth! Love the variances in lines, like how some are darker and thicker than others. Hope this gets approved, cause I would love to color it. Nice work.

Nicely done. Love the hues of the characters and the sky is very pretty. My only suggestions are to add a bit more shading to the little flying dude and some definition to the clouds :)

I've been a member of OC for a long time, and I get the bug to draw or color here every once in a while. I miss a lot of the artists who used to frequent the boards, too, so every time I come back I reminisce a little. I was thinking about Blindfish when I was doing the bg here... I was feeling kind of texture happy anyway. :)

I know exactly what you mean - it must be 4 years ago I used to come on here most of the week, flooding the rooms with cowhats and random things (my name was kanga). I remember Blindfish, had such an interesting style!

Nice job on the lighting, the colors, as well maintaining the texture thoughout the picture. I really like what you did on his bandages. Though, I think his pecs are a little high, the coloring makes up for it. Yeah, I remember those days.
