xD This was originally supposed to be for the Elementary contest, but I overshot the timer by about 15 minutes or so. ^^;; I had to go to a family thing in the middle of it, so that's why the time is so massive.

I love storms! They always get me so inspired, so I thought a cool element to have power over would be weather, throwing oceans into chaos and darkening skies~

My element is the "Element of Surprise"!!
In an otherwise boring and grey place i'm a burst of unexpected color and energy. I also like to scare the crap out of people when they least expect it. Im a person who, in the middle of a conversation, will just yell "YAH!!" and see if you jump! haha

I would have to say I'd want fire, cause I love watching stuff burn but I can never find a lighter. I drew myself controlling the element of emotion, because i am very empathic and good at working with people. i know how they feel, and can communicate with them in the way they best understand. This understanding also makes it easy to manipulate people. :x

This is sooooo cute! I love the tones you used, the yellowy tints on her skin. The lips especially are beautifully shaded, as is her shirt. I like the small details, especially on the little ferrets. ^^ They're adorable, and realistic in a cartoony way if that makes sense. Cute background, too, it allows you to focus on the front without getting bored.

Happy Birthday Gao chan on September the 18th!
Gao-chan who? She is my little sister and totally obsessed with pretty k-pop stars like DBSK's Xiah-junsoo. She loves asian music, her two ferrets Honey(dark colored) and Xiah(cream colored). Gao is totally addicted to strawberries,
Ramune, bubble tea, Whoppers, and sweets in general. She tends to wear flat shoes, converse, or DC sneakers. She loves leggings with long shirts, and lots of bright colors. Gao thinks Dinosaurs are the SHIZZ which is actually where her nick-name came from. Gao also loves Harajuku and Oshare-kei fashion, her phone is covered in stickers and charms, she has masses of hair clippies, and loves to accessorize. Her hair is super pale almost white blonde in the style of something similar to Roxas of KH, who she also loves, or even like naruto, her eyes are greenish brown, and her face is always smiling or laughing.

This is a present for Borqje; I was planning on making this from the start, for all the advice on the first burning man picture...
But really, I think this one came out about twice as bad... XD
Sorry that I didn't do a very good job, I tried hard to implement your references and ideas. XD
I hope this is at least up to standards, or I'm gonna hit myself for the panic I went through when my applet died. XD

Whatever the concerns about the drawing being up to standards are, I feel *honoured*, not in the least because you took the bull right by it's horns and went for (what I consider) an extremely difficult subject, gviving me a different approach of your initial drawing as well.

I love the fact you gave him something challenging, signing the viewer to come nearer. (I feel compelled, but I think I'll pass ;) :D )
You've caught the impression of licking, searing flames very well. The eyes really burn from the inside, thus giving the viewer an extremely intense look. (Even if it's a much smaller icon!)
If I'd invite him, what would his favourite drink be....spiritus? =D

Um.. first the obvious, this was drawn for the lovely Ein's contest, I mean To: Contest (very cleverly named btw)
Secondly, fire-extinguisher girl (subject) does not, will not, and never will belong to me but belongs to the lovely Siferra03 (check her up ;D)

Borqje: Aaaaaaaaactually, the surrealist flames and most elements of the picture I tried to imitate off of Sif's wonderful style...

Lastly: The reason I drew this picture for Sif would be the fact that she's the one who really pulled me into art when I met her 3-4 years ago, without her there would not be the me today (and none of you guys on OC would know me ;D) So thank you Sif <3

P.S. The guy within the picture is not trying to save her.. he's a stalker of sorts... so just remember silhouette guy = baaaaaad ><;;

The reflections of the light are well- rendered, love the decorative curls and lines of the flames, the way you've played around with the forms of the various elements gives the whole picture a surrealistic but very attractive atmosphere.

Wow, I really like how her dress glows from the flames. The yellow in the flames are really bright and I like the bubbly things underneath the girl. She looks pretty calm for a girl who's being stalked O_O.
