Ok once again, I came home from work really tired and started on a piece and fell asleep halfway through finishing it. I haven't been able to find anything that says we can't post stuff over a certain time limit so I'm gonna post it and see what happens....
This is so interesting! Its so subjective as to what its suppose to be, and that's what I love about it. It could be a supernova, or a nucleus, an embryo. Its really really cool. I love the colors too.
Her face came out beautifully.
And her hair has such nice highlights, can really feel the curls.
Her gown looks a bit unfinished in comparison however, reworking it a bit more might give a better feeling of texture. : )
This is Keys. He lives partway down a massive, rusty, machinery-clad tower that, the further you go down it the more insane you get. Keys is relatively sane, although he has an unhealthy fascination with clocks.
Hope this is sci-fi enough. It's more steampunk, but the origin of the story in in sci-fi. Also, omg, shi painter. Beautiful.
"This one is machine and nerve and has its mind concluded; this one is but flesh and faith and is the more deluded..."
Personally, I don't know what I'm doing drawing the gravemind, because I personally think he's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. XD I was just itching to see some halo fanart was all, and he seemed easier than my favorite characters. XD
Anyhow, Gravemind was really freaky. The flood levels are all very grotesque, and in halo 3, his shouting and that demonic laughed scared me badly. XD
And I always imagine that that brown mist that comes out of his mouth when he speaks smells terrible. XD
YAY! Gravemind!THis is amazing..it looks so much like that scene. I really like the detail you added to everything...it is wonderful. Yeah...bit of a halo nerd geek here. I must say though, you have captured the scene with the detail it deserves.
I have been on a real monster drawing spree lately, and i just really wanted to draw on oekakicentral again (even though shi painter refuses to work for me T_T) this was a lackidaisical doodle i've been working on off and on this mornin, and i kinda like it.
whoahs, that's so cool. I love the faded colors you used, it gives it such a story-book feel...what a neat picture. And omg, that little robot sitting in the corner is deadly cute *o*; I really love the blues you chose for the sky as well. This has such a dainty and lovely feel to it!
.. silliness aside, I think stars can never be too busy, there's never enoguh DDD:
And the mounds of land look way awesome, almost like people holding up torches to walk through a forest of staaars.. or not *shot*
Sincerily, it is one of the mostly unexpected images, refering to the theme of the oekaki board where it is posted. But at the same time fits quite well with the title " The Nebula" The illumnation, the roots of the trees, the galaxies in the background, all the picture is wonderful.
Somehow, this reminds me of an epic journey being taken by two very lost Ents. Your finesse is exquisite. The colors are so alluring and you have kept a very mysterious air about this. It is beautiful...like a true space scape.
Is that normal for shi-painter to not allow retouching? Or did you just run out of your time limit? Well...no worries, I can see you redoing this image and going into details it has potential but up to you to give it what it needs (detail and more story)...I like the figure, it's wonderful however, if you're thinking of a mirror/glass look then you could redo the figure as if it were lying down on top of the glass and looking down through it (position the hand flat against the background to make it appear as if he/she is holding their weight up against the background glass) and I love that golden outfit that it has. GOOD LUCK!!!!
The tough life of a street samurai - chase scenes on hoverbikes, moonshaped shuriken, the works. But the things you do to survive...
Anyway, my first submission into a two-star room. Hope you like it!
She's a recurring character of mine, so expect to see more of her. Next time I'll use watercolors again though - solids took me ages! On top of that I got sick yesterday - drawing with high fever isn't a good idea :/
Toby, guy in Gray, is complaining about the sharp turns that nearly knocked him down, the lady in green ( Tehjinko) is rolling her eyes because she has no problem keeping her footing, and the pilot, Darneth is telling Toby to shut up and buckle up.
this peice took a ridiculous amount of time and i'm thrilled with Dar's creepy eye balls.
Thank you very much for the extension, Madhatter. :) I'm still not thrilled with my background, and there's something missing in the foreground, but I can't quite pick out what I should change. So any suggestions would be greatly welcome ^^
The little bird is incredibly cute.
I think you should contrast the blue cloth a little more (I have a very bright screen and it's still hard to see) and maybe make the bird reflect in the metal dish ^^
Otherwise, no critique from my side!
... so I entered the hall, blast doors shut behind me. Two more slow steps...
BANG! crate exploded and AT-PT charged on me, firing all his guns. These little beasts are pretty quick...
I start jumping like mad [force Jump level 2 ;)) ]. Backflipping over crates, trying to hide from fire and hit the drone with something explosive; and finally managed to bring it down. *sigh of relief*;))

... That's why I love 3d shooters. They keep you amused ;))
(many thanks to Katie for uploading this)
