Background needs a lot of touchup, however. I can see you put a LOT of effort on the characters, but the background looks rushed.

Thanks for the comment! I'll admit the background was a little rushed, but by the time I got to it it was nearing 3am. I will try and touch it up soon!

Background FAIL. Apple FAIL. But still. I loved the new star trek-it was an awesome movie! seriously! (and I'm still getting the hang of this oekaki buisness. I realized half way through that there were foreground and background layers...so maybe next time I can make a picture that actually looks good)

This was not supposed to take so long but a series of life events happened while doing this picture. One of my all time favorite moments in Avatar. The whole point of the picture was to fit like a manga page since this particular scene was very anime inspired.

Don't be too hard on yourself you have great potential especially drawing here were it is all about making your work better. When I first came here I was really unsure of my work (still am) so I practiced a lot in the training grounds :D. Good place to get some feedback also is the workshop! Good luck to you!

this is Daft Wullie and Horace from Wintersmith, a great book of Terry Pratchett. Horace is a blue mold cheese and he glows in the dark and Daft Wullie is a Feegle. I guess you have to know the books to understand the genius behind all this (the story, not my picture). so everybody read more discworld books
